The Bulletin includes an update on the ISSCT XXXII Centennial Congress from the Congress Organising Committee and two features entitled: Towards agroecological management of sugarcane pests by Dr. François Régis Goebel, Chair TPC and Potential climate change effects on crop production and adaptation strategies in sugarcane cultivation by Dr. Hardev Sandhu, Agriculture Commissioner. We wish to thank Dr. Goebel and Dr. Sandhu for having contributed to this issue and we hope that their inputs will inspire other members to send in features for future issues of the ISSCT Bulletin.
The Bulletin also contains information on latest news on sugarcane across countries, latest research articles as well as past and upcoming events related to sugarcane technology.
You will find information in the Bulletin on the workshops to be held during 2024 for the Agriculture and Co-Products Commissions as well as for Germplasm & Breeding/Molecular Biology and Entomology/Pathology Sections. Links to the announcements of these workshops are included under Events.
