Dear ISSCT Members
We are pleased to present you with the October 2023 issue of the ISSCT Bulletin which you may access through the following link:
The Bulletin contains under ISSCT News:
– A feature on The evolving challenges in sugarcane biosecurity by Dr. Salem Saumtally, Member ISSCT Executive Committee and Dr. Asha Dookun-Saumtally, ISSCT Councillor for Mauritius. This follows those by the Editor Dr. Peter Allsopp and the Co-Products Commissioner Dr. Bryan Lavarack in April and the ex-Factory Commissioner Dr. Rod Steindl in the August 2023 issue.
– A tribute to Brian Egan who had greatly contributed to ISSCT and who passed away on 13 October two months after his beloved wife Maureen, also a strong supporter of ISSCT.
The Bulletin includes in addition information on latest news on sugarcane across countries, latest research articles as well as past and upcoming events related to sugarcane technology including the first announcements of thematic workshops.
